2005 DIANA Winners.

Mylan Pharmaceuticals recently garnered two Distribution Industry Awards for Notable Achievements in Healthcare (DIANA) at the 2005 Annual Leadership Forum sponsored by the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA). Mylan's launch of the Fentanyl Transdermal System (CII) was honored as the Best New Pharmaceutical Product Introduction and/or Product Promotion, Generic Pharmaceuticals. Mylan was also recognized as the Best Overall Generic Pharmaceutical Products Manufacturer with Sales to Healthcare Distributors Over $100 Million.

Since 1959 HDMA has presented DIANA awards to pharmaceutical and consumer product manufacturers for excellence in new product introductions, promotions and business practices. The criteria include category sales growth, promotional programs, market performance, bar code usage, EDI and general operational excellence.
